SMBC's Youth Department is a smaller relevant community of the church's overall ministry that strives to help each young person develop into a disciple for Christ.
We believe that the Bible is God’s infallible written Word and we believe wholeheartedly in seeing lives changed through Jesus Christ. Our dedicated team of Youth Ministry leaders work with youth ages 6 to 18, building them in the Word of God and sending them out to do likewise in a welcoming, safe, fun and enthusiastic environment to connect with one another via Sunday School, Bible Study, Music Ministry, Community Service Projects and other enriching activities. We seek to help them develop the tools to acquire and maintain a healthy growing relationship with God they can use wherever they go in life.
