COVID-19 Summary Guidelines to Observe for Our Limited In-Person Gatherings

  • Reservations can be made online using the reservation link on the page. Please complete the online form of COVID-19 Screening Questions after you make your reservations.  Reservations can also be made by calling the church office at 423-624-9097 during the church’s normal business hours (Monday-Thursday, 9-4 and Friday, 9-3).  

  • Temperatures will be taken using no-touch thermometers upon entry. Normal temperature should not exceed 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Out of deep care and concern for the safety of all persons, those with high temperatures and/or those who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to return home. They should consider seeking medical care and/or COVID-19 testing, per CDC guidelines.

  • Wear face coverings while in the buildings and please refrain from touching hard surfaces in the buildings.  Please keep your face covering over your nose and mouth while in the building.  If you must cough or sneeze, please keep your mask on and cough or sneeze into the crease of your bent arm. Ushers will bring you a clean mask to replace yours. Just get the ushers’ attention and point to your mask.  

  • Face masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry.

  • Please practice social distancing (no handshakes or hugs). No separate activities will be available for children or youth. No nursery activities will be available.

  • Please observe the taped-off social distancing seating restrictions that are in place. Based upon the CDC’s suggested social distancing separation of 6 feet between people. Ushers and other trained personnel will provide guidance.

  • Groups of 2 to 4 people from the same household may sit together in a designated 6-foot space on designated pews.
  • Persons attending without a household member are asked to sit in the designated 1-person spaces in the designated pews and designated chairs.

  • Children, Youth, and Young Adults must remain seated in the sanctuary with a parent/guardian from the same household during worship services.  If they must leave the sanctuary, a parent or guardian must accompany them.  No separate activities are available for children or youth.  No nursery activities are available.

  • Offering trays will not be passed in the pews. You may leave your tithes and offerings in the buckets as you exit the church.  Members and visitors can continue to give their offerings using through Givelify, mail offering to the church or bring your offering to the office during normal business hours.
  • These guidelines will remain in effect until further notice.
