MUSIC MINISTRY

We are looking for dedicated saints to help us uplift the name of Jesus in song.

We are a church that loves to praise and worship, therefore we celebrate with both contemporary and traditional genres of Christian music inclusive of gospel, hymns, anthems, and contemporary.

“As a servant leader in the music department for more than 35 years, my goal is to train and direct the choirs in giving honor and glorifying our Creator and King through song. Realizing that worship is how we demonstrate what we value most, we choose to give the best of our talents, efforts and creativity to God. We desire to reflect the likeness of Jesus by multiplying, growing and maturing through the disciplines of personal worship, prayer, study, and fellowship. SMBC is a diverse congregation and I strive to offer a diverse repertoire of music including praise and worship, contemporary, hymns, spirituals and gospel music ranging from the Rev. C. L. Franklin era to the Kirk Franklin era."
